There is a solution using software that runs on some phones called Blackberry Connect. There was an article in it in a recent edition of Access News from AFB. If you know Don Barrett, who works for the u.s. department of Education * he uses it.

Has anyone found a workable solution for accessing email from a
"Blackberry" server that allows the use of a screenreader? I had asked
this question in the past and was given some information about the use
of a Windows Exchange server(?) to forward the email, but wondered if a
solution that does not require my employer to reconfigure any Blackberry
services exists?

Thanks,
bcp
