Hello Conference Friends,
Now that the holiday season and the start of the new year are behind us, we would like to call your attention to the first major event of 2008 * the CSUN Conference! This years conference is coming soon and will be held at the Los Angeles Airport Marriott and Renaissance Montura Hotels on March 10-15, 2008.
With the Conference less than 2 months away, we want to remind you of several important deadlines and special events and program highlights that we dont want you to miss.DEADLINE REMINDERS:
The Early Bird Conference Registration Deadline is February 1st. Please register by this date for the early bird discounted conference registration fee of $450.
The Speaker Regular Registration Deadline is February 1st. After this date the speaker registration fee will increase from $425 to $450. Speakers have until February 22nd to register for the conference. There will be no on-site registration for speakers! Please register as soon as possible; your cooperation ensures that we can provide attendees with the most accurate conference schedule for general sessions.
The deadline to request Alternate Format conference materials is February 15th. Please indicate this request in your conference registration by this date to ensure you receive the materials you need for the conference. If you have already registered and need to make a change to your alternate format needs, access your Notebook for our event and select View Event Options. The Notebook can be found at:

In response to our attendees requests, we are pleased to announce that we will again be offering our Save a Seat option for the general sessions. For your convenience, you can reserve a seat at the any of the general sessions listed in the conference schedule to ensure there is seating availability and then create your own personalized schedule in your notebook. Please register first and then take advantage of this time-saving tool so you wont miss the speakers and sessions that interest you.
The 2008 Exhibit Halls will open at 8:00 am on Thursday, March 13 with a special Continental Breakfast this year. The Exhibit Halls in the Marriott and new Exhibit Halls in the Renaissance will be open Thursday, Friday and all-day Saturday! The conference will end at 5:00 pm on Saturday, this year, to provide additional time for attendees to see the latest products and services that our Exhibitors are showcasing in 2008.SPECIAL EVENTS:
Save the date for the Opening Keynote Breakfast at the Renaissance on Wednesday, March 12 at 7:30 am. The 2008 Keynote Speaker is Jim Fruchterman, the renowned technology entrepreneur and engineer. Following Mr. Fruchtermans exciting presentation, we are proud to announce that John Williams will receive the 2008 Strache Leadership Award.
Reserve your seat now for our special featured speaker at the conference * Ray Kurzweil.
Mr. Kurzweil will discuss The End of Handicaps on Thursday, March 13 at 12:00 pm. Lunch is provided after the session. Please make a reservation by saving a seat for this special general session located in the Thursday general session schedule list.
Friday night, March 14th is the date for ATAs 20th Anniversary Gala Celebration. This exciting event includes a look back at the organizations history, a silent auction and more!
