Hello,

I am currently working with a client who is a researcher in the STEM field at a local university here in Arizona. The employer knows about vision issues, but tasks like formatting written material and construction of data into graphics have been getting harder over time and errors are starting to occur. They would like to get an assistant for the visual aspects of formatting, which they believe would only take a few hours a week to complete. The employer has been opening to listening to their needs, but have not moved forward with assistance. Part of the reasoning is that funding has been cut so much with funding that was coming in from the government.
If anyone has gotten an assistant at the university, we would love to talk with you to share information on how you were able to get it in place. We have been brainstorming to see how we can get that assistant, such as trying to find a grant that would possibly pay for that assistant's wages. So, if anyone knows if there are grants like this out there where should we be looking. Any suggestions out there are welcomed as well!

Thank you for any help!
