Subject: [NOBE-L] Assistive tech trainer
Hello,
I am the youth program coordinator for the NFB of Missouri. We have a teen group that meets monthly over zoom. Currently we are focusing on a different career path each month. The career we choose to focus on is based on the interest from the group.
This month we are focusing on assistive or adaptive tech trainers. I am looking for someone who is certified and working in the field to talk with our group about their job, the training, the pros and cons, and anything else that may be of importance or interesting.
The meeting is this Friday at 7 PM central time.
Please reach out to me by phone, text, or email.
Thank you,
Jenny Carmack MEd

The National Federation of the Blind advances the lives of its members and all blind people in the United States. We know that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. Our collective power, determination, and diversity achieve the aspirations of all blind people.
