For anyone in the area, this event is coming up and open to all ages!



Bellingham Accessible Scavenger Egg Hunt with Nondrivers Alliance, Taskar
Center, NFBW-Whatcom County Chapter and Coach April Katz

The <http://www.nondrivers.org/>  Nondrivers Alliance and the
<https://tcat.cs.washington.edu/>  Taskar Center for Accessible Technology
at the University of Washington are partnering with
<https://nfbw.org/chapters-divisions/whatcom-county-chapter> National
Federation of the Blind (of Washington (NFBW) Whatcom County Chapter and
<https://www.coachaprilkatz.com/> Coach April Katz to host an accessible
scavenger egg hunt for families in the Bellingham area on April 4, 11-2pm.

 

For the scavenger hunt, we'll be using
<https://tcat.cs.washington.edu/accessmap/> Access Map, a new tool connected
to the <https://tdei.cs.washington.edu/washington-state-proviso/>  statewide
sidewalks inventory that can help users find wheelchair accessible routes
and provide step-by-step audible directions and cues for screen reader
users.
