[NFBWATlk] Inaccessible Washer and Dryer: How to Deal with It

Mrs. Higgley,

Unfortunately, our apartment place does not support apps. So my washer / dryer do not have any companion apps. Sadly. Which is very stupid, because I know you can control stuff via Alexa, SIRI, or home assistant.
At the risk of sounding too "entitled," but I'm going to have to push my landlord harder. I am paying rent, and I am a dues paying, and good-standing member of my apartment community so why can't I have rightful access to my applicnaces? I think this should be a given. I'm glad I have the NFB to back me up and I am glad that NFB does a lot of consumer advocacy and I am thankful for your resourcefulness should the push comes to shove.
Thanks!

Do you know if they have an app that might be accessible with your phone?
