As many of you know, house bill 1207 passed the Washington state legislature on the last day this bill provided for a wider range of court filing fees, and the money is to go to the Secretary of State’s office and some of that money is to be used for the Washington talking book in braille library which desperately needs added funding. Please call the governor’s office this week he has until Saturday to sign the bill. His number is 360-902-4111. You can either leave a voicemail or you can choose the option to talk to a staff person. Let’s urge him to sign the bill so that we can get some funding in the near future
