[NFBWATlk] NFBW Youth Programs

Hello All,

The first half of the year is very busy for the National Federation of the
Blind of Washington. Not only do we have our state convention (I am
registered, are you?) but we also have our STEM2U and NFB BELL Academy all
happening before national convention.

STEM2U: Training dates are Feb. 28 and April26 at the WTTBL and the actual
event is happening on May 3 at the same location.

NFB BELL Academy: Training dates Feb 28, May 17 and the event happens June
22 - 28.

Both of these programs need volunteers for behind the scenes and working
with the students. We will have an information / training seminar at our
state convention on Friday from 12:30 - 2:30. Here you find out about the
program, goals and philosophy. We will also have some hands-on activities
and an opportunity to learn how you can volunteer or even register a
student for the program.
