The Central Employee Services Division (CESD) within the Department of Human Resources (DHR) seeks an experienced, dynamic, and motivated Disability Services Manager.

The Disability Services Manager is responsible for leadership, direction, oversight, and support to ensure high quality service delivery of Disability Services programs. Disability Services facilitates the reasonable accommodation process and provides guidance for leaves to King County employees, supports return-to-work/stay-at-work programs, and provides and maintains employment opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities through the County’s Supported Employment Program. This role will also provide day-to-day supervision of four Disability Services Consultants.

The Disability Services Manager is a member of the CESD leadership team and reports to the Deputy Director. The role works in close partnership with countywide human resource professionals to provide highly specialized assistance to management and employees to balance departmental operational needs with compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
