Subject: [NFBWATlk] NFB Washington Seminar updates

Good afternoon,

We have selected our 2023 NFB Washington Seminar delegates. We are excited
to have members from six of our ten congressional districts in attendance.
They are:

Amandeep Kaur - District 2
Audrie Meraki - District 5
Kris Colcock - District 6
Marci Carpenter - District 7
Kristin Geary - District 7
Buna Dahal - District 9 (Buna was not part of our delegate selection. She
will be coordinating all of the DC hotel arrangements and will also be
attending some of our appointments.) May Tran - District 10

Audrie, Kristin and May are first-time attendees.

The 2023 Washington Seminar will be in person. Some of our meetings at the
hotel will be streamed. Links will be sent as soon as they are available. We
will need everyone here at home to help with follow-up emails and phone
calls to our Senators and Representatives. We want everyone to be familiar
with our issues so I am including the Zoom information for the first
training session. It will be tomorrow, December 20, at 5 PM Pacific.

Since this will be a new session of Congress all current bills that we want
to continue with will need to be reintroduced and will have new bill
numbers. Remember that we follow and work on more bills than the ones we
focus on for Washington Seminar. Our three issues for the seminar week are:

Websites and Software Applications Accessibility Act Medical Device
Nonvisual Accessibility Act Eliminating the SSDI Earnings Cliff

Please attend the training session to learn more details.

Thanks,

Marci
