Hi Washington Talking Book & Braille Library,

 

Greetings! I’m a PhD in the information school at UW, and currently I’m doing research on assistive technology for blind or low vision users to use touch screens. I’m reaching out to see if I could get the resource for potential participants in your organization, for the user study. 

 

The user study is to collect the typing patterns on big touch screens such as tablets. The study will take place in a lab at UW and will last for around 2 hours with compensation (I will provide details if you are interested!).

 

My advisor is Jacob O. Wobbrock, and we have past experience working with people with disabilities for research projects.
