EssentialJob Functions:    
   - Coordinate President’s travel arrangements including flight and hotel reservations, conference and meeting reservations and ground transportation. Provide itineraries in accessible formats listing all appointments, addresses and contacts. 
    
   - Maintain calendar and establish priorities for President. 
    
   - Provide operational coordination, administrative and braille services support, and project management to the company President. 
    
   - Compose correspondence; prepare reports and presentations as required for the President. Coordinate with Communications and Development Department as appropriate.  
    
   - Serve as a primary point of direct administrative contact and liaison with other offices, individuals and external institutions and agencies. Also serve as liaison between the President, supervisors, other staff members and/or departments.  
    
   - Screen telephone calls, mail and e-mail for the President.  
    
   - Assist with data entry using various programs and software.
    
   - Assist in the coordination, supervision and completion of special projects and other special events, as requested by the President.
    
   - Participate with management in projects related to development and implementation of policies, processes and procedures as assigned.
    
   - Complete expense reports and rectify monthly credit card statement for the President. Ensure that all invoices are signed and expensed correctly. Verify President’s directs expense reports and credit card statements are complete for signature.
    
   - Coordinate with the Communication and Development staff to ensure that Lighthouse standards regarding graphics and communications are utilized consistently throughout the President’s communications.  
    
   - Coordinate special projects related to the President’s priorities; attend all relevant meetings and follow-up on action items/activities. Keep the Strategic Leadership Team and other executive staff informed as relevant.
    
   - Coordinate with front office, HR, other administrative assistant, corporate secretary, and Strategic Leadership Team to ensure effective communication and coordination of CEO priorities with our daily operations. 
    
   - Work closely and cross functionally with other administrative support staff leaders to ensure consistency. Provide backup to other administrative staff as needed 
    
   - Provide input on policy and procedure updates as requested  
    
   - Other duties as needed such as providing front office or other administrative back-up as requested and approved by the President.

MinimumRequirements:    
   - Bachelor’s degree preferred
    
   - Proven ability to work and communicate with staff of all levels in written and verbally with a high level of professionalism.  
    
   - Must have a natural ability to work independently, take initiative and prioritize. The duties performed are complex and confidential in nature and must be carried out with high professionalism, attention to detail, utilizing tact and discretion, and with the ability to exercise sound judgment. 
    
   - Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook as well as solid Internet navigation skills
    
   -  Ability to effectively handle multitasking and shifting priorities seamlessly, including multiple requests that are all high priority 
    
   - Ability to preserve confidentiality and demonstrate discretion at all times
    
   - Ability to be graceful and tactful with sensitive or delicate situation

   
   - Ability to use Duxbury to create Braille documents is preferred   

    
   - Ability to troubleshoot copiers, scanners, fax machines, and simple computer issues
