Dear Community Partner,

 

The Library Equal Access Program (LEAP) at The Seattle Public Library is excited to announce the system-wide launch and availability of the ZoomText and JAWS assistive technology software for low vision and blind patrons on every public internet computer at all Library locations.

 

The Safeco Insurance Fund's “Access for All” Inclusion Grant and The Seattle Public Library Foundation supported the purchase of ZoomText and JAWS licenses. The “Inclusion for All” grant also funded magnifiers, Braille systems and other devices to enable equitable access to Library print materials, computer technology and other online resources.

 

We will be hosting a number of “Access for All" technology open houses to promote the software and other assistive technology. Please share the attached release with your respective clients and partners.
