Hi all,

Wondering if any of you have recommendations for good readers in the
Seattle area or sighted people you know who are reliable, literate in
English, and interested in making an extra $40 per month?
I want to hire somebody to help me with grocery shopping. I just had
an awful experience trying to work with an incompetent shopping
assistant who struggled to find most of the basic items I needed to
get, and made multiple errors. My husband is very picky about what he
buys and tries to get the best deals whenever he can, so I really need
to work with somebody who can read labels correctly and efficiently. I
had a wonderful experience with a hired assistant in Boulder and I
want to try to do it again in Seattle.

I normally go to the grocery store every other weekend (alternating
with my husband). I'm willing to pay somebody $15 per trip if they
just meet me at the store or $20 per trip if they drive me home with
the goods afterwards. I really just need somebody who's reliable and
intelligent enough to understand what my husband and I need to buy.
Even a high school student with a good driving record who wants to
make some extra cash would be fine. If the person does drive and they
do a good job, I might also hire them for occasional rides to doctrs'
appointments or the airport, but those can be negotiated based on
their schedule and preferences.

If you know anybody to recommend, please contact me off-list at
arielle71 at gmail.com
or on Facebook. Thanks so much for your help and I look forward to
seeing some of you at convention!

Best,
Arielle
