Hi,
I think I got spoiled by my husbands' medical insurance policies and perhaps
they paid what Medicare did not. My first husband had Government medical
insurance which was actually good way back then. My second husband, Jim,
worked for Premera, so we had excellent medical insurance with them.
Now it's just me and that might be the difference. My work insurance stinks,
so that's why I have KP Medicare Advantage.
Thanks
Lauren, who wonders which bank to rob next month?
Haha.

Well, I don't think Medi-Care will pay for the whole thing. I have
prosthetic eyes and I was told that they wouldn't. Anyway, maybe it depends
on a person's coverage. I don't know. I've had mine since 1987. For sure,
I need new ones.

Hi Lauren, I really like your signature at the end of your email.

Up until Maria told me that Medicare paid for artificial eyes, I had no idea
that they would. When I got mine in 1995, I was working and my insurance
wouldn't pay anything. Someone anonymously paid for mine. They are
definitely not cheap! And no, they aren't cosmetic, like jewelry. I've had
my original prosthetics since 1995. That's almost 20 years. Are you
supposed to get new ones every so often? I can sure understand your needing
to if you are in pain and that would make it
medically necessary as far as I'm concerned. Blessings,
Debby
