That's great. For once, some positive news about a very negative subject. Thanks for this, Mike. Annees deserves all of our support.

Hope things are well in D.C. I hear there's another big storm headed your way this afternoon and evening, possibly affecting morning commutes, etc. Stay safe and warm. (to the extent possible.)

Hope Daytona was a good experience. Saw a very good press release from our national Office.

Subject: [nfbwatlk] Annee Hartzell -- Good News!

Fellow Washingtonians:

Last week, Annee Hartzell, a member of the NFB of Washington who lives in Walla Walla and who is a teacher of the blind and visually impaired who grew up in Washington state and who has worked both here and in California, called me to give me the good news that after her last round of chemotherapy, it appears that her cancerous tumor has disappeared. Annee has been through rather a tough struggle with her cancer and so is elated and wanted me to convey the good news to this list. Now, of course, we watch and wait. But this is a time of celebration for Annee and we can celebrate with her.

Mike Freeman, President
NFB of Washington
