Seattle advances to the NFC Divisional Playoff Game for the fourth time in the last six seasons as it travels to Chicago this Sunday. Kickoff is slated for 10 a.m. and the game will be televised on FOX (channel 13 in Seattle) and broadcast on 97.3 FM and 710 ESPN Radio in Seattle and also on Westwood One.

The fourth-seeded Seahawks defeated the fifth-seeded Saints last week, 41-36, to advance. It was their fifth playoff win in a row at Qwest Field. After trailing by 10 points on two occasions early in the game, Seattle went on a 27-3 run to take a 34-20 lead in the third quarter, while Marshawn Lynch had the play of the game breaking eight tackles during a 67-yard touchdown run to seal the game.

The Seahawks have advanced to the postseason for the seventh time in the past 12 seasons. The only team in the NFC with more appearances in that span is the Philadelphia Eagles (nine) and the only teams in the AFC with more appearances are the Indianapolis Colts (11) and New England Patriots (eight).

Seattle won its fifth NFC West crown in the last seven seasons, and sixth division title in the last 12. Overall, Seattle has won its division seven times (1988, 1999, 2004-07, 2010).

This will be Seattle's second trip to Chicago this year. The Seahawks defeated the Bears, 23-20, on October 17, sacking Jay Cutler six times and holding Chicago to 0-for-12 on third downs.

Editorial statement: No reason why they can't do it again!!!
