Seahawks Continue at Home Against Green Bay

 

The Seahawks continue their preseason at home with a Saturday evening
contest vs. the Green Bay Packers on August 21 at 7 p.m. (PT). The game
will be televised

on KING 5 in Seattle. Curt Menefee will serve as the play-by-play man,
with Warren Moon moving over from his radio duties to handle commentary.
On 710

ESPN Radio and 97.3 FM is Steve Raible joined by former Seattle
quarterback Sam Adkins with Jen Mueller handling sideline duties. NFL
Network will also

carry the game live outside the Seattle area.

 

The two teams have met 13 times in the regular season, with Green Bay
holding an 8-5 advantage. The Packers have won four of the last five
regular season

meetings and both postseason contests since 2003. In last season's
meeting held on December 27, 2009, at Lambeau Field, Green Bay posted
over 400 yards

of total offense and rushed for five touchdowns, including two each by
Ryan Grant and Brandon Jackson.

 

Seattle has faced Green Bay three times in the preseason, holding a 2-1
record. In the last preseason meeting, Seattle dropped a 48-13 decision
at Green

Bay on August 18, 2007.
