    Seattle Pedestrian Advisory Board
How to Apply

Applications are accepted on a continual basis and press releases are sent out before each series of interviews (these occur when there are vacancies on the Board).

Individuals selected must have perspective, experience, and talents that will enhance the Board. Strong candidates will have a broad familiarity with many neighborhoods in the city, and interest in walking for recreation and/or transportation and a willingness to devote 8-10 hours a month to Board meetings and other Board duties.

Applicants must reside within the City of Seattle. Board meetings are on the second Wednesday of each month from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in City Hall.

It is a straightforward matter to apply to the Seattle Pedestrian Advisory Board. Submit your resume and a cover letter explaining your interest to brian.dougherty at seattle.gov

If you have questions about the application process or SPAB, please contact Brian Dougherty in the Seattle Department of Transportation at (206) 684-5124, or e-mail at brian.dougherty at seattle.gov
