Well, writing the song was loads of fun.  Things ought to be fun or they aren't worth dining.  

I agree that a joint roast would be really fun.  Fundraising will get even more challenging, given this economy.

I thought "The Fan Song" rather creative. Protests to the contrary notwithstanding, I suspect that had it not been for that song, we wouldn't have sold as many fans as we did.

Besides, I dare say there are fewer and fewer among us who remember "Ben and the Stuff" or the Studebaker that was going to make the affiliate a fortune! Perhaps it's the mischief or magic of Christmas Eve but it strikes me that WCB has had its share of fund-raisers gone haywire also and that it would make a hilarious evening to host a joint roast where we'd tell all the war stories of our fund-raising misadventures!
