I found it positive as well.  I think it's a bit political in his answer, 
but I certainly understand since he's on the committee and wants all the 
facts before he votes.  As I have said before, he's a great 
environmentalist.  He wrote a book called, "Appollo's fire", (I think that's 
the full title), which outlines some things we need to do to combat the 
environmental devistation currently being caused by mankind.  whether you 
believe in global climate change or not, the fact is that we are polluting 
and affecting our environment.  Anyway, he's a strong advocate of energy 
alternatives, including hybrid cars, so he's got to tread carefully.  He's 
solid however in his concern for issues we push, so stay tuned.  I've 
already sent him one folow up letter with some additional informationb. 
I'll keep up the drumfire of information to keep his mind on the issue.  I 
know his staff, and particularly David Beehar (SP) will stay on the issue 
too.
