Hello All,

An eight year old sighted boy was riding his bike today and not hearing 
a
quiet car turned right in front of it and was hit and went up on the
windshield. Thank God he only had a few minor scrapes.

Thank God. The car was going pretty slow, it was a neighbor of the boy. 
The
news ran it with an interview by our State President on the pending
legislation. Thank God he wasn't hurt, but maybe this will be used to 
show
this is not just for blind people-a small minority of the population. 
The
NFB has brought this issue to the congress, now others are coming on 
board.
For the first time today in response to this accident the Toyota company
said they were going to "take a step back" and look at it again.
