Fellow Federationists and friends:

The 2008 convention of the NFB of Washington will be here sooner than we 
think and this means that we will be awarding the Beverly Prows Memorial 
Scholarship and the Hazel tenBroek Memorial Scholarship. I am appointing 
the following committee to evaluate the scholarship applications and 
choose the scholarship recipients:  Rita Szantay, Chair; Ben Prows, Don 
Mitchell, Maria Bradford and Marty Cartwright, committee members. Rita 
will be in touch with the committee to make arrangements. The 
scholarship application form will soon be available on the NFB of 
Washington web site,
http://www.nfbw.org. If you are a student, please apply for a 
scholarship. If you know someone who is a student, please urge him/her 
to apply.
