System Change Advocate/Attorney
Disability Rights Washington (DRW) is a private non-profit organization
that provides advocacy services for people with disabilities in
Washington State. We are a casual but busy office seeking an Advocate
or Attorney with a strong interest and experience in system change
advocacy and public policy development. The Advocate or Attorney uses
electronic and print communication, in-person training, outreach and
coalition building to engage the community in disability advocacy and
system change to promote civil and human rights.
Successful candidates will have strong writing and excellent people
skills. Outlook, Word, Excel and Website Content Management experience
is needed. Minimum of three years previous advocacy and/or disability
related experience is desired. Salary range is upper 30's to upper 40's
DOE and includes a generous benefits package.
