Hi, Kevin,
I too am struggling with wireless connections. I have a lynxsus router and
it was set up and I could see it and use it. However, I had someone go in
and disable broadcasting, and ev3r since then I have had difficulty.
Someone is coming over tonight to assist me as there are many graphics and
it is hard for me to configure the router.
If I glean anything from the experience, I will let you know. I am using a
pac mate.

Subject: [nfbwatlk] Techie Question
I'm trying to set up a wireless router. I plugged the modem into the router,
and then I ran the wireless setup wizard. It seemed to be successful; my
laptop was able to see the new network. I put in the network key that I was
given, and it appeared to be accepted. I then spent the next half hour
waiting for the connection to complete, but it never did. All I saw was
"acquiring network address." Obviously there was a step I missed, or
something else I need to do. Can anyone give me any guidance? Thanks for any
help.
Kevin L.
