[nfbwatlk] Wine Tasting A Tremendous Success

Thank you Ben. While I do not have the final numbers on the Wine Tasting 
as a whole, I do know that the Seattle Chapter raised $135 for the state 
affiliate  by selling raffle tickets for those bottles of wine.

Thank you again to all who sold tickets and got friends and family 
there. Not only did we have most of the Seattle Chapter there, but we 
also had Lou Oma Durand  and others from DSB as well as Kirk Adams, the 
new CEO of the Seattle Lighthouse in attendance. Rita brought a new 
group of people and Billie from King County also brought a number of 
friends. I would agree that it was a successful event.

Since this was the fourth annual wine tasting, there was a drawing for two bottles of wine, we got a taste of eight different wines, and an opportunity to perchase the excellent fare throughout the evening.  I was glad to see so many friends there, and to make so many new acquaintences too.I think we made quite a bit of money as well.
