Fellow listers:

As previously indicated, the National Federation of the Blind of
Washington will hold a conference for members of the Board of Directors,
chapter presidents and other interested persons on Saturday, April 26,
2008 and the morning of April 27, 2008 at the Ramada Inn Governor House,
621 S Capitol, Olympia, WA, Telephone (360) 352-7700. Cost of the rooms
is $70 per night plus tax, any number of occupants. If you are a NFBW
Board member or a chapter president, the affiliate will make your room
reservations. All others planning to attend the conference should make
your room reservations ASAP. This room rate applies for the nights of
Friday, April 25, 2008 and Saturday, April 26, 2008. When making room
reservations, please be sure to tell the reservationist that you are
attending the NFB of Washington spring conference. To guarantee a room,
reservations must be made by April 15, 2008.

It will cost the affiliate a total of $50 for meeting space and for
lunch and dinner on Saturday, April 26, 2008. This cost may be offset by
making payments to the National Federation of the Blind of Washington
and sending them to P.O. Box 2516; Seattle, WA 98111.

Get ready for some philosophical discussion and old-fashioned Federation
camaraderie and have your ideas for fund-raising and membership
recruitment projects ready for discussion!

We might even sing a song or two!

I look forward to fun and stimulating discussion. Together, we can solve
our problems!

Mike Freeman, President
NFB of Washington
