Subject: [Nfb-krafters-korner] to tote or not to tote...

Since we got onto a topic of organizing some of our tools and projects,
I
had to add my 2 cents in here.

I love tote bags and recently had gotten some nice heavy cotton large
grocery bags made up for my chapter as a fund raiser. They were made
right here
in the United States. The company is run by women and I was very
pleased with
the product. We had the whose it printed on it. I had gotten some
bags
that did not have anything printed on them as suggested by one of our
drivers in
the chapter. We included some literature in the bags about the NFB.
First
I need to say all the bags were sold with whose it on it. Not one of
the few
plain ones were sold. Even to people that did not have a clue what the
NFB
was until they read the literature we included. If anyone is
interested the
website is:

Sorry I kinda got off track. I received such a clever unique gift to
tote
my knitting around in from a wonderful friend of mine on this
list.[thank you,
Audrey] It was one of those tube cylinders that you can put a wine
bottle
in. They had them out in the regular stores prior to the holidays, but
I am
sure they have them in the liquor stores year round. It has a cord
handle and
it is tall enough for your knitting needles and ball of yarn and what
you
are working on. Now if you were making an adult sweater you couldn't
fit that
in, but most of your other knitting projects would have no trouble.

Joyce
