Thanks, Alco, for the kind words re my knowledge of the contact rep job at
SSA. For all practical purposes, I left there last October after an
eighteen- year run. While I would not recommend hanging around that long,
I'd say the job is a good one for getting one's foot in the door of the
federal employment system. Regarding the openings in Auburn, the person you
should probably get ahold of is Victoria Traverso. I don't have her phone
number handy, but you can reach her by Email at victoria.traverso at ssa.gov.
She should be able to give anyone interested the info they need. Hope this
