I must admit the room rates in Seattle are a bit steap; on the other hand  it 
is much cheaper and less challenging to travel to Seattle than to the Oregon  
boarder. 
 
Jen and I are both college students going full time. We have a hard enough  
time taking off for the weekend. I think that having an extended convention in  
the fall is unrealistic. 
 
Please remember that there are members in this affiliate that have to  travel 
great distances.  I don't mind splitting the cost of the room with  two or 
three people. I had to do this last year at National. 
 
I may not be able to go to National this year due to lack of resources and  
assistance; however I would not have a problem coming to Seattle for all  
conventions. 
 
I hope this is helpful. Perhaps someday we can have one in Bellingham.
