Hi there,
I thought I'd pass the following on to anyone who is interested. I'm producing this concert via the Seattle Folklore Society.
I hope some of you can attend. It's well worth supporting live music.
By the way, I would personally like to acknowledge and congratulate our good friend Mr. Don Mitchell. He and the "Three Together" trio did an outstanding job at Portland's top folk festival last weekend (Winterfolk). Not only was Don the frontman of the trio this time, but he also got to sing on stage with folk legend, Peter Yarrow. This was a dream come true for Don, and if you all would have heard him and felt the wonderful atmosphere throughout the theater, you would have known what a special time it was for Don, for the Winterfolk performers, and for audience members like myself.
I felt it was worth mentioning because Don is yet another example of a Federationist who is getting out there and impacting people and making his own dreams come true...through music and song. How cool is that??

John Miller is a professional guitarist and composer who's recorded CDs in such styles as Country Blues and Jazz. He has also recorded with various popular ensembles.
Orville Johnson is a multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter, producer, and session player who has become a fixture within the Northwest music scene and beyond.
Johnson and Miller will play an eclectic variety of music from country blues to original guitar tunes and songs. The audience will leave wanting to hear more!
The concert will start at 7:30 PM and admission is $14, $12 for SFS and PNA members, and seniors. Please make reservations by telephone, 206-528-8523 or on the SFS website.
