Curious people are so interesting! Sometimes, I get the disabled conversation. The situations that concern me most, however, are when newly-blind people do not believe I am really blind. Often, they are sure I am just making things up to confuse them. When this occurs, I know the services for the blind or another helpful agency stress the things they will never be able to accomplish as a blind person. We have to work to combat these attitudes. It is a never-ending cycle.
