Rebekah,
What do you say to him?  Now that depends on whether you are in your Teacher 
mode, or your long suffering mode, or in your flip mode, or perhaps in a 
more wicked, Devil take the hindmost mode.
For the most part, I cut folks a lot of slack.  I know that even though my 
intentions are the best, I have blurted out some very strange thoughts when 
chatting with a stranger.
Also, it depends on the relationship.  If this is a person whom you will be 
in contact with, or doing business with in the future,then put on your 
teacher's hat and have at it.
But if you don't plan to see them again, then smile and nod and tell them 
that you know the lady.  She's your aunt...or sister.
