Great job, Andrea.

I think it's a wonderful idea to put minutes of chapter meetings on the
list. It's another way of bringing the affiliate close together, keeping
us all in touch with what's going on around the affiliate and serving as
a wellspring of ideas for topics for meetings of other chapters.

A couple of minor corrections: the spring get-together isn't
technically a spring conference as we've traditionally held them; it's a
meeting of the Board of Directors and chapter presidents and other
interested persons, all of whom are encouraged to participate freely.
There will be a definite NFB philosophy component
as well as discussion of future affiliate projects, affiliate
financing/fund-raising and perhaps a "why do we do things the way we do"
discussion. Also, since Dr. Maurer will be with us, I'm sure he'd be
more than happy to answer questions concerning our national movement.

Also, since Gary and I weren't able to come to a satisfactory agreement
with the caterer (we were going to be charged over $40 for a
chicken-and-rice dinner), we won't be charging $50 for meals. Breakfast
is still complimentary and we can eat lunch in the restaurant or at the
various eateries in the neighborhood. We're still working on a venue for
a communal dinner. No guarantees, though.

Again, thanks, Andrea, for publishing the Seattle chapter minutes on the
list. I urge other chapter secretaries to "go and do thou likewise".
