Hello:
 
I had to go to the eye doctor on Thursday due to some very bad pain in the  
right eye. My surgeon has also moved my appointment up to 9-25-07. Surgery is a 
 very definite possibility now. 
 
The doctor on Thursday explained my condition a little more to me. I have  
salt and calcium depositys on my Cornea and epithelial  cells try to stick  to 
these deposits. It does not work; so as a result they peal away eroding the  
Cornea. This irritates all the nerves in the Cornea. Painful. 
 
Dr. Shen is one of the best Corneal & Cataract surgons in the state.  She 
handles very complex cases like mine. I am glad that she will be helping me  with 
both the cataract and the cornea. 
 
I will keep you posted and the eye is healing from the erosion but it will  
happen again unless action is taken.
