Hello Listers,

President Kris Lawrence has asked me to write a post reminding you of the
Greater Seattle Chapter's meeting this Saturday September 15th from 10:00 to
noon at the down town YMCA between Main and Madison. There will the
Presidential release from Dr.Mauer.? Speaking of Dr. Mauer, I get a head of
myself in mentioning? that he will be our national representative at6 this
years fall convention the weekend of October 19th-20th and 21st.? 

This chapter??meeting's agenda includes a discussion about activities for
the blind and a discussion of organized activities for the blind.? If there
is someone who?would like to bring goodies for the meeting,?please contact
Kris on her cell number of (206) 854-3025.

The fall convention is being held at the Ramada Inn Governor's House in
Olympia.? Which is incidentally across the street and one block over from
the?Greyhound station. Hotel ?rates are $68 per night.? Registration on or
before October 1st is $60 which includes meals and $5.00 without.?
Registrating after the 1st will cost $65 for meals and $10 for no meals. Do
remember our auction and the ever lovely "Doorie"? and her fun prizes.
