No, I love football.  It's just pre-season for the NFL, and I can't get too 
excited until next weekend.  Colleges started this week, but they are 
playing the luck of the draw, not the teams that count yet.

In fact, I used to tape record  Pete Gross and Don Heinrich, back in the 
day.  I may have some old Seahawks tapes.  I also used to put my phone on 
the answering machine during a game, and woe the person who would call 
during the first or second half of the Seahawks game.

But in baseball, until today, the mariners were at the top of the seasonal 
list, since they *were* in contention.  I, unfortunately am very pesemistic 
as of this writing that they will be going to the play offs, since they are 
imploding, trailing 5 to 2 to toronto in the seventh, threatening to lose 
their ninth in a row.  (Listening to the 7 in the 7th ad Carl talked about 
right now).  Oh, but wait,l they just scored the third run.  Maybe, ..., 
just maybe, ....

That's baseball.
