Lauren:

I am sorry that I was unable personally to talk with you and to
personally express my condolences.

But I was extremely pleased that you decided to atend the convention and
that you felt welcomed and loved and had a good time.

As with all affiliate presidents, I am never quite sure whether things
will come off but even I thought this convention came off quite well.

Again, we are glad you were there!

  Hi,
I am home from convention. It was another good one this year. It was
neat/cool to see everyone and meet some new people. Congratulations to
our scholarship winners!

Thanks to those who spoke to me of the loss of my husband, Jim. It
was a little scary to go ahead and attend the convention without him,
but I did it, hoping I would be okay.

When I would unlock my room door, I would sometimes expect Jim to be
there. It was a little disconcerting that he was not there.

I got home okay and my kitties were glad to see me back again.
  Thanks
  Lauren Merryfield
