Greetings, everyone!

I have appointed the Resolutions Committee for the 2007 convention of
the NFB of Washington. It will meet about 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October
19, right after the "everything you wanted to know about the Federation"
session. The place is TBA.

Gary Mackenstadt will chair the Resolutions Committee; he will inform
you how, where and in what form resolutions should be submitted.

The other members of the Resolutions Committee are: Noel Nightingale,
Bennett Prows, Jennifer Moerke, Paula Achter, Maria Bradford and Kyle
Parrish. The Resolutions Committee hears resolutions brought to it and
makes recommendations to the NFBW convention as a whole as to whether
the resolutions should be passed or rejected.

Resolutions are the vehicles which set the policy for the NFB of
Washington. If you need help crafting a resolution, I am sure that all
of us grizzled veterans will be glad to assist.
