SAVE THE DATE:
Transportation Advocacy Day!
Mark your calendars now for Tuesday, January 29th. We're heading down to Olympia to advocate for action on climate change, better transportation choices, and healthier transportation. Last year more than 100 citizens like you advocated for better transportation alternatives. At Advocacy Day you'll have the chance to learn more about transportation issues, meet with legislators, attend hearings, and be a professional lobbyist for a day!
We hope you'll join us for a day of good old fashioned politics and take this opportunity to let your elected officials know how you feel. A face-to-face meeting is always the most effective way to influence your legislators!
WHAT: Transportation Advocacy Day
WHERE: The United Churches of Olympia, 110 11th Avenue SE, Olympia
More details including carpooling information coming soon!
OTHER EVENTS AND HAPPENINGS:
Seattle Streetcar Grand Opening - December 12, 11:30 - 1:00 PM Pacific Place Station at the Westlake Hub (Westlake Avenue & Olive Way). Volunteer as a Transportation Ambassador and help get the word out about the streetcars.
