Dear BrailleNote Family,

The decision to shift HumanWare corporate headquarters to Canada
under the
leadership of Gilles Pepin is a strategic decision to allow
HumanWare to
continue to grow and places company governance closer to our main
market
which is the USA and Europe. Further communication on the
changes will
be released as appropriate.

BrailleNote and the low vision products form a major part of
HumanWare's
revenue and the development and manufacture of these products
will
continue from the Christchurch Development Center based in New
Zealand.

Rather than being fearful as regards the future of the
BrailleNote our
Users should be optimistic that the governance change signals an
even
greater commitment to the BrailleNote philosophy, and it is
definitely
business as usual as far as the New Zealand team is concerned.

This week we will be releasing KeySync and in association with
that there
will be a new KeySoft release that supports KeySync and also
provides
fixes for a number of small anomalies that have been reported
since the
release of KeySoft 7.5 Build 20 in September. We are just
finalising the
release information for this, and further announcements will be
made in
the coming days.

Best regards

Maurice
