Hi everyone,
At last spring's PNW-AER annual general membership meeting, there was a
seconded motion to form a committee to formulate a position addressing our
concerns about the role of Washington Sensory Disability Services' State
Coordinator for the Blind and Visually Impaired.

After much collaborative thought, and many drafts later, the committee has
arrived at a final version of PNW-AER's RECOMMENDATIONS REGARDING
WASHINGTON¹S STATE COORDINATOR FOR THE BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED POSITION,
attached here.  Signed copies have been sent to WSDS' director and
administrators at OSPI.

We strongly hope that this position paper is not an end to itself, but
rather a springboard for vigorous examination and dialog. Please post your
thoughts!
