Let me echo Kris's comments.  We had a *great* time, and learned a bit
about wines and wine making, as well as new types of wine.  I must say
there are a lot of them, and I can't believe that the husband and wife,
along with some volunteers, make all of it by hand, bottle it by hand
and even label it by hand.  Wow!  

The folks who paid the money all seemed very satisfied, getting more
than they expected at this year's event. I too was particularly
impressed with the Fluted Edge.  She was fantastic.

 Thanks to Kris and all who helped arrange this.  This could become a
Seattle Marquis cultural event.  It was *that* good.

Hello,

Well, I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all who helped make this 
years wine tasting an off the charts success for us. We had over 80 
people in attendance. We were treated to some very pleasant music from 
the Fluted Edge. Many of us made some new friends and enjoyed visiting 
with our long time buddies. And lets not forget the wine and food 
provided by E. B. Foote. Sherill shared with me that she sold more wine 
this year to those who attended then she has ever sold in the past two 
events. Many pictures were taken and I know that the Wine Raffle was a 
pleasant addition as two people went off with a bottle of wine that they

enjoyed for the cost of a raffle ticket.

We also handed out Kernnal Books and spread the word about the NFB. 
Again, thank you all for your help with this event. We are looking at 
repeating the wine tasting at least one more year.
