Seminars at Hadley opens the door to recreation opportunities
New software plug-in required for participation

Get off the couch and get busy when Seminars at Hadley presents "Recreation - From Watching T.V. to Mountain Climbing," Wednesday, June 13, 3 p.m. CDT (8 p.m. GMT). Mark your calendars for this seminar that will show you how easy it is to participate in various recreational opportunities in your area and what you can gain from being active. 

This interactive and informative session will be led by Ginger Irwin, a Hadley instructor who specializes in recreation opportunities for those who are visually impaired. Discover the best ways to stay active and enjoy summer.

Registration is required and space is limited. Register by going to http://www.hadley.edu/seminar/ and follow the "Registration" link. You will receive instructions to log in to the seminar. Please note registration will only be taken online, and not by phone. Please read the technology requirements listed below prior to the seminar.

NEW technology requirements:
The Hadley School for the Blind is now using a new version of Talking Communities tcConference software for its popular Seminars at Hadley interactive seminars on a variety of topics. Effective May 29, if you wish to participate in Seminars at Hadley, you must install a new plug-in prior to the first login. To install the plug-in, follow the "Download and install the new plug-in" link on the Seminar Login page. 

This version is for Windows only and it is not compatible with Macintosh at this time. 

System requirements: 
Windows98, ME, 2K, XP or 2003 (XP recommended) system, Pentium 3 500 MHz or better CPU, 512 MB RAM, Internet Explorer 6, 7 or FireFox, JavaScript and cookies enabled in the browser, 56K or faster Internet connection (broadband recommended), full duplex audio device, speakers, and microphone (optional).
