Subject: [rehab] Dan Ryles
It is with great sadness that I report that Dan Ryles passed away early
last week. Many of you may know that Dan is the son of Dwain and Ruby
Ryles. Dan's death was unexpected and although it is not clear what
happened, it appears that his death was from natural causes. This is
especially tragic given his young age of 32.
Ruby and her family are still in shock, but they are drawing strength
from all of the out pouring of love and sympathy from friends and
colleagues. She has asked that I share the following information.
There will be a memorial service held for Dan on Wednesday, July 25, at
2:00 p.m. at Trinity Methodist Church, 1000 W. Woodward Avenue, Ruston,
LA 71270
318-251-0750
For those wishing, flowers can be sent directly to the church. Also,
plans are under way to have a memorial scholarship set up in Dan's
name. You may send donations to the Louisiana Center for the Blind, C/O
Dan Ryles Memorial,
101 South Trenton Street, Ruston, LA 71270, (318)251-2891.
