Fellow Federationists and Friends:

Our March for Independence this morning went off without a hitch. 
Spirits were high and Jacob Struiksma carried the NFB of Washington 
banner with pride! The Seattle Chapter's banner was also prominently 
displayed.

When we got to Centennial Park, we heard rousing speeches by Kevan 
Worley, Dr. Maurer, Caroline Young (wife of Andrew Young who could not 
be there) and Congressman John Lewis. He said we are all "in the 
Federation House". We won't stop till we make trouble until it is clear 
that we are no longer willing to wait for first-class status!

Spirits remained high as we marched back to the Marriott Marquis hotel 
and into the morning convention session.

There were no serious medical emergencies!
