Hi Mike,
First of all, let me say I'm very sorry for not having stayed in better
touch. I'll work harder on doing so in the future.

It is my sorrowful duty to report that Dazzler, Virginia's service dog of
nearly 11 years, has passed on. He was nearly 12 and half years old.
Without going into great detail at this time--He injured himself over the
weekend, and when we had X-rays done on monday they discovered that he'd
broken his left hind leg.
We took him to the orthopedic specialist and when they examined the
films--they found bone cancer.
We had the choice of removing the leg, pumping him full of pain killers and
kemo for 9-12 months while he wastes away.
Or giving him peace and dignity.
We gave him peace. As was what he deserved after all he'd done for Virginia
and our family. He was such a dignified and loving friend. We couldn't do
anything else for him.

Dazzler and Virginia touched thousands of lives in their nearly 11 years
together.
I hope and pray that those of you who read this have some kind of memory of
Dazz.
There was no better a Service Dog to be found!!

He will be sorely missed and forever remembered!
