Lisa,

Haven't been to the WCB list, but if they have a lot of negative things to 
say about this fund raising effort, I hope they do the same for other 
organizations that send merchandise, etc as incentives.  The letter is, as 
you say, thoughtful, and, I think full of information--positive information 
about the blind, all pointing to the fact that with our organization, we can 
be normal human beings.

As I have long said, I think the ACB's primary purpose, (again not having 
read what has been commented on about this on their list) is to cut down the 
NFB, and to deny our philosophy.  Not all ACB members, (or even leaders for 
that matter) know this, but unconsciously, through their constant reaction 
to what the NFB does, they reinforce the council's ultimate goal, which I 
might add is somewhat analogous to that of Iran toward Israel.
