Subject: Introduction New Hire ITS4 Seattle Mike Mello



Hello all: 

I want to introduce our new hire for the ITS4 AT Specialist position in
Seattle, Michael (Mike) 
Mello.  Mike will be initially teaming with Sue Porter to provide AT support
for the WCWA team. 

This is what I had to say about him when I recommended him to Lou Oma for
hire:  


Mike Mello demonstrated strong technical skills through the interviews and
the 
situational & hands-on demonstration questions.  He displayed ease & 
competence with blindness products, and provided good demonstration of his 
ability as a trainer of technology to learners at many levels of experience.
He 
presented a highly organized foundation and progressive set of concepts
during 
the training portion of the interview. 

His experience with AT is as a user, as an AT tech assistant and trainer at
the 
University of Idaho, and through an extensive internship experience at the 
Environmental Protection Agency IT shop, providing Mike with experience in 
many facets of IT work.  

He currently is working as a Human Resource Specialist at the EPA, and 
presents a professional, competent, congenial style that he will draw on to 
successfully interact with the variety of employers and IT contacts during
jobsite 
assessments.


We are excited to have Mike start on January 7th.  Please be sure to welcome
him to the DSB 
team!
