Carl and Listers,

You have hit the nail on the head with this one. I am particularly
irritated that the radio guys come back after the game has begun in any
given inning. I think we ought to figure out to whom to complain and do
something about it. I know that Fisher broadcasting paid a pretty penny
(about ten million) to broadcast the Mariners, and need to get in as
many commercials as they can, but something needs to be done, say,
taking a couple of seconds off of each commercial or something, so that
we get back to the game in time for the first pitch. They can only
cover up so many late returns.

As long as I'm still cranked over the dismal showing by the Mariners in
their, "Do or Die" home series with the Angels, there is one other thing
that sticks in my craw.
Am I the only one, or does the following situation annoy you, too.

While I'm kicking back, enjoying a barrage of commercials between
innings, I suddenly notice that those thoughtless players have gone back
to work before the end of the important and fascinating advertisement.
usually it's only one pitch or two, but on occasion we have come back to
a game in which one player is already on base and the next fellow just
hit one out of the park.
Don't you think that those ball players could have the decency to wait
until we all get back in our TV seats?
